Meet Elena
Dr. Elena Ruiz founded Haven Dental Studio in 2009 with a simple idea: dentistry should feel like being looked after, not processed. She still sees new patients every week and leads the studio's cosmetic and smile-design work, from whitening and composite bonding to full porcelain veneer makeovers.
Elena is known for her conservative approach. She designs every smile digitally first and lets patients "test drive" their new smile in the mouth before any tooth is prepared, so there are no surprises. She also has advanced training in implant dentistry and works alongside Dr. Chen on implant cases in the smile zone.
Outside the studio, Elena volunteers at a community dental day each spring and mentors newly qualified dentists. She speaks English and Spanish.
Fun fact. Elena grows over 20 varieties of tomatoes on her balcony and brings the extras in for the team every summer.
